XULA hit .767 over the final two sets and .917 — 11 kills and no errors in 12 attacks — in the third set.
Kayla Black had nine kills and eight digs and hit .412 for XULA.
Bria Mayes had eight kills, three blocks and hit .636.
Vivica Price-Spraggins had four kills in five attacks
and six blocks.
Jennifer Torres served four of the team's 10 aces and had 10 digs.
MUW hit minus-.081 in its season opener.
