SHREVEPORT, La. — Chelsey White did not miss a shot in a 15-point performance Saturday that led LSU-Shreveport to a 70-45 Red River Athletic Conference women's basketball victory against Xavier University of Louisiana.
        White, a 6-foot-2 senior, was 6-of-6 from the floor and 3-of-3 from the line.
        The Pilots (17-5 overall, 11-3 RRAC) are 11-0 at home this season.
        Abryhia Irons and Shylia McGee scored nine points apiece for the Gold Nuggets (12-9, 6-7). Irons grabbed eight rebounds and had three assists.
        LSUS scored 18 of the first 22 points, but XULA rallied to cut the Pilots' lead to 28-21 by halftime. LSUS pulled away by outscoring XULA 27-15 in the third quarter.
        LSUS outshot the Gold Nuggets 50.9 to 36.2 percent from the floor and outrebounded them 35-30. XULA missed all seven of its 3-point shots.
        XULA will play two RRAC opponents next week at its Convocation Center: 5:30 p.m. Thursday against Our Lady of the Lake and 2 p.m. Saturday against Huston-Tillotson.
