       NEW ORLEANS — Second-seeded Xavier University of Louisiana erased deficits in each of the first two sets Friday in a 28-26, 28-26, 20-25, 25-13 women's volleyball victory against third-seeded Texas A&M-Texarkana in the semifinals of the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament.
       The Gold Nuggets (18-7) reached a conference tournament championship match for the 13th consecutive year and their third in a row in the RRAC. They'll play top-seeded Our Lady of the Lake at 1 p.m. Saturday in XULA's Convocation Center. XULA defeated OLLU in five sets in RRAC Tournament finals in 2021 and 2022.
       XULA rallied from deficits of 21-14 in the first set and 19-14 in the second.

Kennedy Wade had 18 kills, three blocks and 17 digs for XULA.
Sydney Murray had 13 kills, two blocks and 11 digs.
       Alanna Derring had 15 kills, and Katherine Toftemark had 10 blocks for the Eagles (25-9).
       XULA outhit TAMUT .194 to .134.
       OLLU defeated fourth-seeded Louisiana Christian 25-15, 25-11, 25-12 in the first semifinal. XULA and OLLU had first-round byes in the six-team, single-elimination event. The tournament champion will receive the RRAC's automatic bid to NAIA nationals, which will begin Nov. 18.
