NEW ORLEANS - XULA's first road contest of 25-26 involved a short drive to St. Charles Avenue, but a marathon-like game in which the Gold Rush eventually fell 110-102 to the Loyola Wolf Pack in quadruple overtime. 

As one might expect, the game was a story of teams mirroring each other for much of the night. Xavier (1-1) held a slight advantage, 30-27, at the half of a game in which the lead changed hands just five times. 

Five Xavier players scored in double figures on the night. 

Nasir DeGruy led the way with 25 points, to go along with five rebounds and four steals. Seviuhn Turner added 22 points and eight rebounds. 

Elijah Tate, Bentravin Phillips, and Leon Williams added 17, 14, and 10 points, respectively.
