NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana
has started 3-0 in women's volleyball for the first time as the result of a 25-19, 25-12, 25-21
victory Saturday against IU South Bend in the Wolf Pack Welcome tournament.
Sophomore
Kennedy Campbell hit .416 for the Gold Nuggets with 13 kills and two blocks.
XULA took control with a 44-18 run after trailing 13-9 in the first set.
Also for the Gold Nuggets:

Kamea Uitenham had seven kills, one ace, five digs and a career-high four blocks.

Laila Person hit .455 with six kills and one block.

Kennedi Bell had six blocks.

Charity Metcalf had 20 assists and seven digs.

Michaela Clayton had eight digs and two aces.

Felise Jones had three aces, nine assists and eight digs.
Bree Lake had eight kills, and Brynn Lake and Ryleigh Scott served two aces apiece for the Titans (2-2),
who lost both their Saturday matches after winning twice Friday.
