Volleyball win over Andrew takes Kendrick to historic milestone

NEW ORLEANS - Gold Nuggets Volleyball head coach Pat Kendrick picked up her 200th win at Xavier Saturday as home-standing XULA swept Andrew College 3-0 in Southern States Athletic Conference play.

Xavier (11-11, 7-7 SSAC) won the first set 25-17, then logged progressively more lopsided wins over the next two sets, winning 25-14 and 25-11 to complete the win.

For Kendrick, who is in her 10th season at Xavier, the victory brought her career win total to 667 over more than three decades as a successful coach at multiple levels. At XULA, Kendrick's record now stands at 200-82.
