NEW ORLEANS - The threat of high winds, rain, and flooding from Hurricane Isaias, which is predicted to make landfall along the Gulf Coast Friday evening, has forced numerous changes to the Xavier Athletics calendar. 

XULA Volleyball's Friday match against Faulkner has been moved from an evening start time to a noon first serve. The team's Saturday match against Andrew has been postponed until Oct. 31 at 2:30 p.m. 

At present, the Xavier men's and women's Thursday matches against Andrew are scheduled to proceed as scheduled, with the Gold Nuggets playing at 1 p.m. and the Gold Rush following at 3 p.m. Saturday's Senior Day match against Point is also still scheduled to occur as originally scheduled. 

As always, XULA leadership is closely monitoring the storm and will adjust based on the latest information available.
