Last week, when the Red River Athletic Conference announced its 2026 All-Conference women's basketball team, 4 Gold Nuggets received recognition.
Alicia Blanton, a 5-foot-6 senior from Richmond, Texas, was named to the first team, quite the achievement for a player whose primary role this season was to be a major spark for XULA off the bench.
However, when that spark equates to an average of 11.7 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, it's no surprise to find Blanton on the first team.
Joining Blanton was senior point guard Tiarra Tillison, of Slidell, Louisiana, a second-team selection. The New Orleans-area product averaged 8.6 points and 4.3 assists per game, and collected 57 steals on the season.
Junior guard Jala Williams earned honorable mention for the Gold Nuggets, and senior guard Gabrielle Morrison was named to the RRAC All Champions of Character team.
The full all-conference team is viewable on the RRAC website.
