SAN ANTONIO, Texas - A combination of a cold shooting night by XULA and a superb shooting night by Our Lady of the Lake led to a tough. 78-57 loss for the Gold Rush on Saturday. 

Xavier (15-8, 11-6 RRAC) shot just over 37 percent in the game compared to 52 percent by OLLU (14-9, 13-5 RRAC). The difference was even starker in the first half, as the Saints outscored XULA 42-19. 

Jamal Gibson was one of two Gold Rush players to reach double figures on the night, putting up 13 points, 9 rebounds, and a block. Seviuhn Turner added 10 points. 

Xavier returns home for its next game, a Monday night game against Louisiana Christian, a Red River Athletic Conference contest that was rescheduled due to harsh winter conditions two weeks ago.
