XULA Volleyball junior middle blocker Zoie Mayberry is still among the top defensive specialists in the Southern States Athletic Conference. 

Heading into this weekend's action, Mayberry ranks No. 2 in the conference with a 1.30 blocks-per-set average, just off the 1.51 average. held by current top blocker Amree Patterson of Tennessee Southern. 

Mayberry is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a product of Wyoming High School. She and the Gold Nuggets are on the road this weekend, with games at William Carey (Friday, 6 p.m.) and Mobile (Saturday, noon).
