MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Southern States Athletic Conference announced Monday that Xavier freshman Kamrynn Williams was among three honorees in the SSAC's Volleyball Players of the Week awards.

Williams, a native of Garden Ridge, Texas, was named Setter of the Week after averaging 7.00 assists per set and totaling 91 assists in a 4-0 week for the Gold Nuggets in the 2026 Big Easy Blastoff. She also had a double-double of 17 assists and 10 digs against Dillard

This was the first weekly honor of Williams' young career. Jakaya Smith of Faulkner (Attacker of the Week) and Lola Blancher of Loyola (Defender of the Week) were the other honorees.
