• Spent nearly eight weeks during the summer of 2018 at the University of California, Davis
campus as a student research intern in its department of chemistry . . . She studied human breast milk proteins under
the tutelage of Dr. Carlito Lebrilla and graduate student Elisha Goonatilleke . . . UC Davis paid for all of Phillips's academic expenses
