in hitting percentage, seventh in kills and tied for fourth in blocks
• Helped Gold Nuggets win a school-record 31 matches (31-9 overall) and
become the first XULA team to reach the NAIA National Championship Final Site
• Helped XULA repeat as Gulf Coast Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament champion
• Helped XULA attain its highest-ever national ranking: among "others receiving
votes" (29th place) in the NAIA postseason coaches poll (Dec. 12, 2019)
• Match highs: 12 kills, .818 hitting percentage, three digs, six blocks
• Began XULA career with 12 kills and six blocks in the season opener, a five-set home loss to
Cumberland in the Early Bird Invitational (Aug. 16, 2019)
• Her .818 hitting percentage against Rust (Sept. 14, 2019) was the best all season by a XULA
player (minimum 10 attacks) and tied for third among XULA all-time match performances
High School
• Three-year starter
• As a senior in 2018 she was all-conference and her team's MVP
• Her eight kills and four blocks in the 2018 Class 4A Lane Regional
final to help the Huskies win their first regional championship in five years
• Made the honor roll multiple times
• Member of National Honor Society
• Her coach at Oak Park River Forest, Kelly Collins, said this about her
during the 2018 preseason: "Zora is a senior leader on the court.
Her quickness both laterally and vertically makes her a double threat both offensively as a hitter and defensively as a blocker."
Club
• Played eight years of club volleyball, most recently with 1st Alliance
Personal
• Has 100 service hours and complied the majority of them at a homeless shelter
• Her mother played tennis for NCAA Division I DePaul University
