•  First year at XULA
•  Multisport athlete competes in cross country for the first time

High School
•  Competed in varsity track and field, football (cornerback, safety, wide receiver), basketball and wrestling during four years at two schools: Pebble Hills (Spartans) in El Paso, Texas, in grades 11 and 12 and Grovetown (Warriors) in Grovetown, Ga. — an Augusta suburb — in grades 9 and 10
•  Best marks, all from senior year, were 6 feet, 5 inches in the high jump, 15.5 seconds in the 110-meter high hurdles and 40-6 in the triple jump
•  Qualified for regional meet his senior year in the high jump and 110 hurdles
•  Helped football team qualify for playoffs as a junior and senior . . . Started on defense as a senior and intercepted two passes
•  Qualified for wrestling regionals and sectionals in the 106-pound weight class as a freshman
•  Made the A-B honor roll multiple times
•  Member of National Honor Society
•  Named to the National Society of High School Scholars during his junior year
•  Received an academic award of excellence from the Congress of Future Medical Leaders, which he attended in 2018
•  Was the first president of the Pebble Hills Health Occupational Students Association (HOSA)

•  Involved in the formation of the El Paso chapter of Jack and Jill of America and served as the first president . . . Parliamentarian for Jack and Jill's South Central regional team
•  Plays the saxophone
•  Currently working on a medical invention
•  Enjoys cooking, including Cajun pasta and Mexican dishes
•  Has several relatives who competed in college sports, including his mother, Shavena Jamierson, who played basketball at Virginia Tech
