High School
•  Competed three seasons in varsity cross country
•  Best time for 5,000 meters was 23:45 at district meet her senior year (2019)
•  Placed third individually in cross country at the region meet her senior year
•  Received team award for most valuable distance runner her junior season
•  Competed in the 3,200 relay and the 800 and 1,600 in track and field
•  In track and field she qualified for the North State meet as a junior in the 1600 and the 3,200 relay
•  Also played three seasons of varsity basketball and earned a starting role as a senior before an ACL injury sidelined her
•  Her basketball team finished fourth in the state in the Class 5A state playoffs her sophomore year
•  Made the honor roll multiple times
•  National Honor Society member; president her senior year
•  Student government executive treasurer as a senior
•  Selected as a homecoming maid her senior year

Personal
•  Entered XULA with 175 community service hours
•  Excellent chess player and has won five tournaments
•  Niece of Sam Funches, who played men's basketball for UConn and North Texas from 1996-2000
•  Selected as a representative for Crown Club, an all-girls service organization in Madison County, Miss.
