2020 Track and Field (Sophomore)
• Did not compete; outdoor season was canceled in mid-March because of the COVID-19 pandemic
2019 Cross Country (Sophomore)
• Finished seventh at GCAC Championships — ran 8,000 meters in 33:24.7 —
and repeated as All-GCAC because of his top-10 finish
• Helped XULA win GCAC men's team championship and an automatic bid to NAIA nationals
• Best season times: 21:11.8 for 5,000 meters, 33:17.7 for 8,000 meters
2019 Track and Field (Freshman)
• GCAC champion in 3,200 relay and ran first segment
• Scored in four events at GCAC meet: also placed second in the 1,600 relay (ran second segment),
seventh in the 200 and eighth in the 400
• Contributed to the Gold Rush's 198 points, the most ever by a GCAC men's runner-up
• Best season times: 11.31 in the 100, 22.97 in the 200 and 51.45 in the 400
2018 Cross Country (Freshman)
• Finished fourth at GCAC Championships — ran 8,000 meters in 30:06.97 —
and named All-GCAC because of his top-10 finish
• Helped XULA win GCAC men's team championship and an automatic bid to NAIA nationals
• GCAC Runner of the Week for Oct. 1-7, 2018, after placing 42nd in the Watson Ford Invitational at Clinton, Miss.,
with a time of 29:51.86 for 8,000 meters
• Ran 8K season best of 29:51 at NAIA nationals and was XULA's first finisher
• Best season times included 18:58.41 for 5,000 meters and 26:07.5 for four miles
High School
• Placed third in the district meet at 1,600 meters and qualified for the area meet
• Competed in the Texas Relays in the 1,600 relay
• Best times were 10.82 in the 100, 22.4 in the 200, 49.72 in the 400, 2:00 in the 800 and 4:41 in the mile
• As a cross country senior in 2017, he was his team's first finisher in every meet
• He helped his cross country team in 2016 qualify for regionals for the first time in 11 years
• Made the A-B honor roll multiple times
• Leader of school's peer support team as a senior; the group helps special-needs students, including
assistance with physical activities
Club
• Qualified for 2017 Junior Olympics in the 800 for Performance Track Club of Grand Prairie, Texas
• Qualified for 2016 Junior Olympics regionals in the 800 for Cedar Hill Elite in his hometown
Personal
• Wants to be a neurosurgeon
• Compiled approximately 200 hours of community service before enrolling at XULA
