Fitness Center FAQ Summer 2015

What are the hours of operation?
For the remainder of the summer session there will be extended hours:
     •  Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-11 p.m.
     •  Friday 8 a.m.-10 p.m.
     •  Weekends and University sanctioned holidays — Closed
     NOTE:  There will likely be adjusted hours for the fall semester.

What equipment does the facility offer?
     •  A regulation-sized basketball court
     •  A lounge area
     •  Free weights
     •  Weight machines
     •  Three-lane walking/running track
     •  Cardio room
     •  Spin studio
     •  Multifunctional studios
     •  Exercise machines

Is there a locker room?
There are men's and women's locker rooms located on the first floor near the building entrance that include changing areas, daily use lockers, and showers.

What fitness classes or sports programs are offered during the summer?
Campus Recreational Sports will have a full slate of fitness classes beginning in the fall to include yoga, Zumba, aerobics, and some new indoor and outdoor opportunities that will soon be announced. There will also be intramural basketball, soccer and several other sports in the fall.

Who may use the facility?
For the remainder of the summer session, Xavier students that are enrolled in classes for the summer session, current faculty and staff are eligible to use the facility. You will need your valid XU identification card to enter the building.

What is the cost?
For the remainder of the summer session, the facility is available free of charge to students enrolled in class for the summer, faculty and staff. A rate chart will be announced for the fall semester in coming weeks that will include rates for faculty, staff, and guests.
