Campus Intramural Sports
OVERVIEW
The Campus Intramural Sports (CIS) department is designed to provide an opportunity for all Xavier
students, faculty and staff to participate in competitive, organized and free-play sporting activities.
It is the general aim of Xavier's Recreational Sports Department
to provide an adequate service sports program for which all participants, regardless of
degrees of athletic abilities, may benefit physically, cognitively, emotionally and socially.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
ELIGIBILITY
All Xavier students, faculty and staff are eligible to participate
in intramural activities. This includes all campus organizations recognized by Xavier University.
Intramural activities are for students who are currently registered for fall, spring and summer sessions.
Any student who is not registered during the current semester and/or session will not be
eligible to participate in intramural activities. Alumni and non-Xavier students are prohibited
from playing in intramural leagues. Varsity players may not participate in the sport in which they are lettering.
