•  Became the first XULA player in 31 seasons with 25-or-more points in three consecutive games . . . Percy Bland in 1988-89 had been the last to reach 25 in three straight games . . . Mart and Bland are the only XULA men in the last 35 seasons (1985-2005, 2006-21) with three consecutive 25-point performances
•  Team was ranked 20th in the NAIA preseason coaches poll and was the top pick to win the GCAC

•  NAIA All-America honorable mention for the second consecutive year

•  He and William Loyd became the first XULA tandem since 1986-87 to reach 500 points . . . Both finished with 545 points in 33 games
•  His 190 free-throw attempts were XULA's most in a season since Merlin Peters's 224 in 1989-90 and are No. 5 on XULA's all-time season list
•  His career-high 34 points in a 100-86 victory at Texas College on Nov. 22, 2019, were the most by a XULA individual on an opponent's floor since Percy Bland's 34 at Louisiana College on Feb. 23, 1989

•  Helped XULA finish 27-6 overall, 12-2 GCAC (champion) and, for the first time 1996, win the GCAC Tournament

•  No. 4 on the team in scoring with 10.7 points per game . . . Also averaged 5.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 33 games with 27 starts . . . Shot 51.5 percent from the floor, 22.2 percent on 3s (8-of-36) and 67.1 percent from the line (96-of-143)
•  Game highs: 21 points, two made 3s, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, two blocks, five steals
•  Led XULA in steals, offensive rebounds and minutes
•  XULA was 16-1 when he shot better than 50 percent from floor
•  First XULA freshman in 27 seasons to lead the team in made free throws and one of only four freshmen in the last 52 seasons (1967-2005, 2006-20) to lead the team in that category
•  Team-best three double-doubles, one which included 11 assists
•  His shot at the buzzer in overtime — an off-balance bank shot — clinched XULA’s 20th victory, 60-58 at home against Philander Smith on Feb. 19, 2018
•  Helped XULA finish 24-9 overall, 9-3 GCAC (regular-season co-champion), GCAC Tournament runner-up and NAIA nationals qualifier with an at-large bid
•  XULA was No. 25 in the final NAIA Division I coaches poll of the season

•  Played five years with the L.T. Rockets of Houma, La., and helped his team win state championships in 2015 and 2016

•  Averaged 17 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game as a senior (2016-17 season)
•  Helped the H.L. Bourgeois Braves reach the round of 16 in the LHSAA Class 5A state playoffs his senior year and finish 28-7
•  Honorable-mention all-state, first-team All-District 7-5A and the league's defensive MVP as a senior
•  Helped HLB reach the 5A state quarterfinals his junior season (2015-16) and picked to his district's all-defensive team
•  Also played football (strong safety) . . . Started as a senior (2016), intercepted four passes and scored twice — once on an interception, once on a fumble return
•  Played for the West in the 2017 state basketball all-star game
•  Academic all-state as a senior and member of the Beta Club

•  His sister, Celeste, received her doctor of pharmacy degree from XULA in 2018
•  At the end of 10th grade (2015) he was 5-feet-7 . . .Three months later he had grown to 6-1
