• Has seven seasons of experience coaching at the club, prep and collegiate levels
• Joined XULA after spending the fall 2020 semester as an assistant coach
at SEC member Mississippi State, his alma mater
• Helped Mississippi State earn road victories on consecutive days in
November 2020 against seventh-ranked Texas A&M — Mississippi State's first-ever triumphs against A&M after 12 consecutive losses
• One of 40 nationwide recipients of the American Volleyball Coaches Association Diversity Award in 2020
• His other volleyball coaching positions:
— Assistant with Mississippi State's club program for four seasons
— Assistant at Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, Ga.
— Assistant at his alma mater, Dutchtown High School in Hampton, Ga.
• Also served Mississippi State for four seasons
as assistant video coordinator of the men's basketball program
• Received a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Mississippi State in 2020
• 200 hours of community service prior to XULA
• Fluent in English and German
• He replaced Ryan Bowerman, who was named men's volleyball head coach at NCAA Division III
Wabash in November 2020
