NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana's competitive cheer program has teamed with Double Good for a popcorn fundraiser.

        XULA was the 2022 NAIA national champion in competitive cheer. It's the first XULA team in any sport to win an NAIA national team championship. XULA's 93.70 out of a possible 100 points set a meet record for highest winning score.
        The Gold finished the season 33-0 — XULA's first unbeaten team in any sport since men's basketball was 29-0 in 1940-41 — and Glenn Caston was voted NAIA Competitive Cheer National Coach of the Year.
