XULA Cheer takes 2nd at prestigious NCA Nationals

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Friday, XULA Cheer continued its trend of raking in hardware at major events. 

The Gold followed their national championship-winning performance at the NAIA meet with a second-place finish in the advanced large coed open division at NCA College Nationals. 

NCA, the National Cheerleaders Association, is a massive meet that brings together cheer teams from across the nation and at all levels of college athletics, inclusive of NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, the NAIA, and junior colleges. 

Xavier's showing at NCAs marks the fourth consecutive competition this season in which XULA Cheer has brought home hardware. 

The team previously won its home meet, the SSAC championship, and the NAIA national title.
