Red River Athletic Conference standings
       TEXARKANA, Texas — Xavier University of Louisiana hit .420 in the final two sets Friday to pull away for a 25-21, 24-26, 25-13, 25-10 Red River Athletic Conference women's volleyball victory against Texas A&M-Texarkana.
       The Gold Nuggets (14-4 overall, 11-0 RRAC) have won 11 straight. The Eagles (18-5, 9-2) lost for the first time at home this season and for the second time in their last 15 matches.

Taylor Parker and NAIA All-American
Kennedy Wade combined for 19 kills in the final two sets to help the Gold Nuggets maintain sole possession of first place in the RRAC. Dineva finished with 12 kills, and Wade and Parker had 11 apiece.
       XULA limited TAMUT to a school-record-worst minus-.039 hitting, and the Gold Nuggets'
Ruxandra Flueras produced a season-high 30 digs. XULA setter
Bengisu Kazazlar hit .625 with five kills, 36 assists, two aces and a block.
       Flueras served two aces, and Dineva and Parker had three blocks apiece. Wade had nine digs, Dineva had eight, and
Sydney Murray had eight kills and seven digs.
       Ja'Kerra Holt had eight kills and three blocks for TAMUT, which rallied from a 16-12 deficit in the second to become the first RRAC team this season to win a set against XULA. The Eagles dropped to third place in the league and a half-match behind Our Lady of Lake, which is idle this weekend.
       Overall XULA hit .212.
       XULA and TAMUT will meet at noon Saturday to conclude their two-match series.
