picked up where he left off, making six 3-pointers and scoring 20 points Thursday
in Xavier University of Louisiana's 76-68 Red River Athletic Conference men's basketball victory against Texas College.
Five days earlier, Ross made a school-record nine
3s against Huston-Tillotson.
The victory Thursday was the third in a row for the
Gold Rush (16-7 overall, 11-5 RRAC) and the sixth in the last seven games.
Cory Wells had 14 points and nine rebounds for XULA,
and
TJ Jones scored 11 in his fourth consecutive double-figure performance.
Jayven Humphrey scored 21 points for the Steers (8-12, 5-11).
XULA remained in third place in the RRAC and
a game behind leaders LSU-Shreveport (14-4) and Texas A&M-Texarkana (13-4) in the loss column.
TAMUT was idle, and LSUS won 78-62 at Southwest (N.M.)
XULA will stay on the road and visit RRAC opponent
Jarvis Christian at 4 p.m. Saturday.
