NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana will conduct an elite basketball camp for high-school boys Sept. 2 at the Convocation Center.
        The fee is $60 per camper.
        Head coach Alfred Williams and his staff will offer instruction from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration will start at 9 a.m.

        XULA's 35 seasons of 20-or-more victories are the most in the history of Louisiana men's college basketball. This past season the Gold Rush were Red River Athletic Conference Tournament champion and, for the third consecutive season, advanced to the second round of NAIA nationals.
