AUSTIN, Texas —
Xavier University of Louisiana women's volleyball completed a two-match
Red River Athletic Conference sweep of Huston-Tillotson with a 25-18, 25-14,
25-16 victory Saturday.
The Gold Nuggets (9-12 overall, 6-2 RRAC)
have won eight of their last 11 matches overall and six straight in conference.
XULA statistical standouts included:

Taylor Parker with nine kills,
four blocks and a .273 hitting percentage.

Olivia Arroyo with eight kills,
three aces, one block, 10 digs and a season-high .381 hitting percentage.
•
Ruxandra Flueras with a match-high-tying
15 digs and a season-high three aces.
•
Kamea Uitenham with eight kills,
nine digs and an ace.
•
Laila Person with 11 digs and
a season-high-tying two aces.
Huston-Tillotson had 18 kills and hit minus-.120 —
both season bests by the Gold Nuggets' defense. XULA served a season-high-tying 11 aces for the second consecutive day.
Chloe Gaytan had nine kills and eight digs for the Rams (3-14, 3-7), who lost for the 15th straight
time at home dating to 2023 and the sixth consecutive time overall.
XULA will travel to northern Mississippi for a 6 p.m. Tuesday
non-conference match against Blue Mountain (14-5), an NAIA nationals qualifier each of the last three seasons.
