Campbell, Gold Nuggets roll again

2024 Red River Athletic Conference women's volleyball standings

DALLAS — Kennedy Campbell dominated for the second consecutive day.
Campbell's .500 hitting percentage and career-high 18 kills led Xavier University of Louisiana women's volleyball Saturday in a 27-25, 25-19, 25-23 Red River Athletic Conference victory against Paul Quinn. That completed a two-match Gold Nuggets sweep and extended their conference winning streak to 10.
Campbell, a 6-foot freshman middle blocker/right side, hit .577 in the series: 31 kills and one error in 52 attacks. Her 18 kills matched the most by a XULA player this season; Friday her .722 hitting percentage was XULA's best this season in a match with a minimum of 10 attempts.
