2024 Red River Athletic Conference Tournament schedule
       HAWKINS, Texas — Freshman
Kamea Uitenham's 16 kills and three aces Saturday led Xavier University of Louisiana to a 25-21, 25-15, 25-17 Red River Athletic Conference women's volleyball victory against Jarvis Christian.
       It was the regular-season finale for both teams. The Gold Nuggets (16-14 overall, 13-3 RRAC) and Bulldogs (14-13, 6-10) will meet again at 1 p.m. Friday in the opening round of the six-team, single-elimination RRAC Tournament at San Antonio, Texas. Venue will be Mabee Gymnasium at host Our Lady of the Lake. XULA will be the No. 3 seed, and Jarvis Christian will be No. 6
       Uitenham has 73 kills in her last four matches.

Taylor Parker had 14 kills,
Kennedy Campbell 12 and
Bengisu Kazazlar five for XULA.
Laila Person served four aces, and
Felise Jones had two.
       XULA, which lost nine of its first 10 matches, climbed two victories above .500 for the first time this season and clinched a winning record for the eighth consecutive season.
       The XULA-Jarvis Christian winner will play second-seeded OLLU in the semifinals at 7 p.m. Friday. The championship match will start at 1 p.m. Saturday. The other tournament qualifiers are top-seeded Texas A&M-Texarkana, No. 4 Louisiana Christian and No. 5 Paul Quinn.
