•  More about forfeits and statistics

NEW ORLEANS — The Red River Athletic Conference Monday morning awarded a forfeit victory to Xavier University of Louisiana men's basketball against Louisiana Christian because LCU was unable to complete the game.
XULA led LCU 34-30 with 16:37 remaining in the second half Feb. 10 at LCU's H.O. West Fieldhouse in Pineville, La., when Corey Dunning of the Gold Rush shattered a backboard during a dunk attempt. The facility did not have a replacement goal, and the referees suspended the game at that time.
No statistics from the game will be counted in season or career totals.
XULA (22-5 overall, 17-4 RRAC) will travel to Texas College (20-7, 16-5) for its final regular-season game at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The winner will earn the No. 2 seed for the RRAC Tournament, and the loser will be the No. 3 seed. XULA-Texas College is a makeup of a Feb. 1 game that never tipped off because Dunning shattered a backboard during a pregame dunk attempt.
The RRAC Tournament will begin Friday at Rapides Parish Coliseum in Alexandria, La., with eight men's teams and eight women's teams.
