2024 Red River Athletic Conference women's volleyball standings
TEXARKANA, Texas —
Texas A&M-Texarkana defeated Xavier University of Louisiana 25-22, 25-20, 19-25, 25-23
Saturday to complete a two-match Red River Athletic Conference women's volleyball sweep.
The Eagles (6-9, 2-0) rallied from an 18-16
deficit in the first set and pulled away after ties at 19 in the second and fourth sets.
Ja'Kerra Holt hit .467 with 10 kills, one ace and three blocks for TAMUT, and
Kaitlyn Cabral had nine kills, one block and 12 digs.
Kamea Uitenham had 14 kills, an ace and two blocks for the Gold Nuggets. Uitenham, a freshman, reached double-figure kills
for the eighth time in her last nine matches.
Taylor Parker had 13 kills, an ace and four blocks,
Kennedi Bell hit .556 with seven kills and four blocks, and
Laila Person had six kills, a block and 12 digs.
XULA's
Ruxandra Flueras produced a match-high 17 digs and reached double figures for the 19th consecutive time
dating to last season.
The Gold Nuggets (3-11)
are 0-2 in conference for the first time since 2004. The Eagles, a third-year program,
were 0-5 against XULA prior to this series.
XULA will be idle next week, then return to the court Sept. 27-28 for RRAC matches
at the University of the Southwest in Hobbs, N.M.

• Paul Quinn won 25-14, 25-15, 25-13 at Texas College.
• Louisiana Christian won 25-17, 25-20, 27-25 at Southwest.
