2020 Track and Field (Sophomore)
•  Did not compete; outdoor season was canceled in mid-March because of the COVID-19 pandemic

2019 Cross Country (Sophomore)
•  Finished 22nd at GCAC Championships — ran 8,000 meters in 37 minutes, 35.9 seconds
•  Helped XULA win GCAC men's team championship and an automatic bid to NAIA nationals
•  Best season times: 21:39.4 for 5,000 meters, 37:35.9 for 8,000 meters

2019 Track and Field (Freshman)
•  GCAC champion at 800 meters (1:59.52) and in the 3,200 relay (ran anchor segment)
•  Scored in four events at GCAC meet: also placed second in the 1,600 relay (ran third segment), and second in the 400
•  Contributed to the Gold Rush's 198 points, the most ever by a GCAC men's runner-up
•  Became first Gold Rush athlete to win GCAC 800 since O'Neill Williams in 2004
•  Recorded XULA's best times of 2019 in the 400 (50.21) and 800 (1:56.46) . . . they also were the program's fastest times since the team was relaunched in 2010

2018 Cross Country (Freshman)
•  Finished 26th at GCAC Championships and ran 8,000 meters in 34:08.75
•  Helped XULA win GCAC men's team championship and an automatic bid to NAIA nationals
•  Best season times included 9:26.93 for 5,000 meters, 26:47.7 for four miles and 31:30.95 for 8,000 meters
•  Three times he was XULA's No. 3 finisher

High School
•  Area champion in the 800 as a junior and senior
•  Helped Mansfield Legacy finish as Class 5A state runner-up outdoors in 2018 (senior year)
•  Competed three varsity seasons in track and two seasons in cross country
•  His pre-XULA PRs were 49.60 in the 400 (junior year) and 1:55.08 in the 800 (senior)
•  Made the honor roll multiple times and graduated magna cum laude

Club
•  Earned All-America honors individually in the 400 and 800 and in the 1,600 and 3,200 relays

Personal
•  Wants to be an anesthesiologist
•  Entered XULA with 100 service hours, most of them for Mission Arlington
•  His father, Kenneth Burton, was a member of Louisiana-Monroe's 1987 NCAA Division I-AA national championship football team (school known then as Northeast Louisiana)
•  His maternal grandfather, Eddie Webb, attended XULA
