•  Member of Houston's Class AAA state-champion 400 relay team as a junior (2014), and he helped the Mustangs win the Class AAA team championship
•  Won five times as a senior (2015) and posted career-best times of 10.89 in the 100 and 22.00 in the 200 at the sectional meet
•  Made the honor roll multiple times

•  Has two older brothers and two older sisters
•  Brother-in-law Craig Mazique is a XULA graduate
