•  One of two Gold Rush athletes to score in three events at the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Championships
•  Fifth place in the GCAC in the 110-meter hurdles (15.94 seconds) and sixth in the 400 hurdles (season-best 58.34) . . . ran second segment for 1,600 relay team that placed fourth in 3:28.95
•  Season-best time in 110 hurdles was 15.17 in a sixth-place finish March 31 at the Mike McMillain Invitational in Clinton, Miss.
•  Finalist for XULA's Male Newcomer of the Year award

High School
•  Four-year varsity letterman
•  All-region and all-county as a junior and senior in the 110 and 300 hurdles
•  Indoors he ran the 60-meter hurdles in 8.78 seconds as a senior (2016)
•  Team MVP his junior year
•  Vice president of Black Student Alliance his senior year

Personal
•  His father, Kevin, attended XULA
•  His brother, Deandre, was on the track team at Howard University
•  Worked more than 250 community service hours prior to XULA via Summer in the City, Habitat for Humanity and Pledge Detroit
