•  Best times of 25.14 in 200 meters and 11.73 in the 100
•  Ran anchor for 400 relay team that placed third at national championships in 2017
•  Competed in the 400 relay at the 2017 Penn Relays
•  At age 13 she was third in 100 at class 3 championships

Personal
•  Played field hockey for three years (defender and forward)
•  Her uncle, Kemar Cummings, played soccer for the University of the West Indies
•  Has six brothers and five sisters

In Her Own Words
•  How I became interested in my sport:  When I much younger. When my grandma sent me to the nearby shops I used to race with the cars breathlessly. From then I developed a love and passion for this sport.
•  Three words that describe me:  Determined, ambitious, dedicated
•  My goals for the 2017-18 academic year — academic, athletic, personal:  My academic goal is to obtain a 2.5 or higher GPA and to excel in all my classes. My athletic goal is to run 11.70 then gradually progress to lower my times in the 100, for the 200 my goal is to run 24.9 and long jump 5.60 meters. I want to make the team for nationals and relay team.
•  The most creative thing I do, or something creative I'd like to be able to do:  Draw and decorate
•  The tastiest thing I can cook:  Baked beans and rice
•  Favorite ice cream flavor:  Cookies and cream
•  Special routine or superstition before I compete:  I pray before and after my race. I do a special hand movement/dance my friends taught me in Jamaica to get rid of my nervousness and I visualize my race.
•  My definition of success:  Achieving your set goals and defeating the odds to attain them
•  A movie title that would describe my life:  War Room
•  The best advice I was ever given:  My grandpa told me, "Not every action deserves a reaction," and my head coach told me, "The bricks they throw at you, use it to build yourself a house."
