Red River Athletic Conference standings
       NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana and LSU-Alexandria, tied for first place in Red River Athletic Conference women's soccer with 9-2 records, will attempt to break the tie when they meet at 1 p.m. CDT Thursday at LSUA.
       Admission is free. LSUA's facility is on campus and near student housing.
       XULA, a first-year program and 9-4 overall, gained a share of the RRAC lead when LSUA lost 3-1 Monday at LSU-Shreveport.
       The RRAC determines its standings by awarding three points for a win, one point for a tie and zero points for a loss in conference games. XULA and LSUA have 27 points apiece, followed by Texas A&M-Texarkana (8-2-1) with 25 points, LSUS (7-1-3) with 24 points and Louisiana Christian (7-2-2) with 23.
       The reigning RRAC Players of the Week — XULA freshman goalkeeper
Luisa Bella (defense) and LSUA junior forward Remmie Ferla (offense) — will meet. Bella has an active streak of 350 minutes without allowing a goal; Ferra leads the RRAC with 32 points — two points for goals, one point for assists — and is tied for the conference lead in goals with 14.

       XULA will visit Louisiana Christian at 6 p.m. Saturday to conclude the regular season. XULA has clinched a spot in the eight-team RRAC Tournament, which will begin late next week.
