HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Xavier University of Louisiana's
Blake Harris and
Kylar Coleman met qualifying standards for NAIA nationals at the Southern Miss Invitational track and field meet.
Harris qualified Friday in the men's triple jump with an A-qualifying mark of 15.03 meters/49 feet, 3 3/4 inches. Harris finished second in the event to teammate
Seth Alexander, a two-time NAIA national champion who jumped 15.10 meters/49-6 1/2. Alexander qualified for nationals earlier this month.
Coleman finished fourth in the women's 100-meter hurdles with an NAIA B-qualifying time of 14.43 seconds.
XULA's other top-five finishers were:
