NAIA women's soccer coaches poll of Sept. 25, 2024
NEW ORLEANS —
Xavier University of Louisiana women's soccer reached its highest position ever
— 34th — in the NAIA coaches poll Wednesday.
The Gold Nuggets (3-3 overall, 2-0 Red River Athletic Conference)
collected seven points and climbed two places from the previous poll.
XULA is a second-year program that won the
RRAC regular-season championship and reached the second round of NAIA nationals in 2023.
That team never received a vote in the coaches polls.
XULA will play host to RRAC opponent North American at 1 p.m.
Saturday at Lafreniere Park in Metairie, La. It will be a doubleheader; the XULA men will play NAU at 3:30 p.m.
Admission is free, and the first 200 fans will receive a free serving of Blue Bell ice cream.
Additional NAIA polls will be announced
Oct. 9, Oct. 23, Nov. 6 and Dec. 18.
