2024-25 All-RRAC lists
       NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana's
Lance Williams was announced Thursday evening as All-Red River Athletic Conference first team in men's basketball for the 2024-25 season.

Seviuhn Turner and
James Weathers were chosen to the All-RRAC second team by the league's head coaches.
Noah Ogoli was the Gold Rush representative on the RRAC Champions of Character team.
       Williams, Turner and Weathers are from Baton Rouge, La.
       Williams, a 6-foot-1 senior guard and a graduate of St. Michael High School, leads XULA and ranks eighth in the Red River with 15.1 points per game. He ranks fourth in the conference with 3.9 assists per game. Williams surpassed 1,000 career points for XULA this season. A year ago he was second-team All-RRAC.
       The per-game averages of Turner, a 6-5 junior guard/forward and a graduate of Madison Prep High School, rank him 17th in the Red River with 12.9 points, 18th with 5.2 rebounds, 11th with 1.7 steals and eighth with 1.1 blocks. The per-game averages of Weathers, a 5-11 fifth-year guard and a graduate of Glen Oaks High School, rank him 22nd with 11.3 points, 10th with 3.4 assists and 13th with 1.6 steals. Weathers' 40 points Jan. 7 in a 100-53 home victory against Texas College set a Convocation Center record, and he became the first Gold Rush 40-point performer since Juan Mercier's 41 at Belhaven on Feb. 14, 1987.
       Ogoli is a 6-foot junior guard from Tualatin, Ore., and a graduate of Tualatin High School.
       XULA (20-8) will play Southwest (N.M.) at 11:30 a.m. Friday in the quarterfinals of the RRAC Tournament at Alexandria, La.
