NAIA competitive cheer nationals history
YPSILANTI, Mich. —
Xavier University of Louisiana produced the fourth-highest score out of 15 teams
during Friday's preliminary round of the 2025 Nfinity NAIA Competitive Cheer National Championship.
XULA scored 92.57 out of a possible 100 points
The score was sixth-tenths of a point higher than XULA's 2025 average entering the meet.
Two-time defending champion St. Ambrose led with 97.10 points, Dickinson State
was second at 94.97, and Oklahoma City was third at 92.83. Those teams and XULA
were the only ones to reach 90 points.
The final round will start at 2 p.m. EDT
at the George Gervin GameAbove Center. XULA will be the 12th to compete, followed
by Oklahoma City, Dickinson State and St. Ambrose. Final scores for each team
will be based on 25 percent of Friday's points and 75 percent of Saturday's.
