DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Xavier University of Louisiana scored 90.08 points out of a possible 100 Thursday in the preliminary round of the National Cheerleaders Association national championships.
Competing in the advanced large coed division, XULA ranks second out of five teams and is less than a point behind the leader, Westcliff (90.60). McKendree is third at 85.70, Lindenwood is fourth at 83.90, and Columbus State is fifth at 83.07.
