Browder receives national recognition

NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana's Bo Browder was one of 13 named Wednesday to the 2025 Achieving Coaching Excellence® Women's College Basketball Coaching Honor Roll.
Browder led his Gold Nuggets to a 29-4 record in 2024-25 and their first-ever appearance in the third round of NAIA nationals. The XULA women tied a school record for victories in a season, and their 18-0 start was their best ever, eclipsing 10-0 in 1980-81. XULA ranked 22nd in the final NAIA coaches poll.
The honor roll recognizes ethnic minority women's basketball coaches at the NCAA and NAIA levels. Browder was the only NAIA coach honored.
This was Browder's second award of the 2024-25 season. He was WHoopDirt.com Coach of the Week presented by FastBreak PlayBook at the NAIA level for Jan. 6-12.
