NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana's Iman Ouedraogo is the Red River Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week in men's soccer for Aug. 18-24.
        The RRAC announced Tuesday the award, Ouedraogo's first of his XULA career.
        Ouedraogo, a 5-foot-11 forward and a junior from Paris, France, scored two goals Thursday in the Gold Rush season opener, a 2-1 road victory against St. Thomas (Fla.), which received votes in the NAIA preseason coaches poll.
        This is the first XULA season for Ouedraogo (pronounced EE-mon   wee-draw-go) after transferring from Arizona Western College.
