Competitive Cheer

13 Competitive Cheer athletes earn SSAC postseason awards

Thirteen members of the XULA Competitive Cheer program have been recognized for their excellence in the sport, classroom, and community as part of the Southern States Athletic Conference postseason awards. 

Five Xavier cheerleaders - Calah Dye, Elias Cato, Kerri Rhodes, Terence Petit, and Trae Byrd - earned all-conference honors. 

Meanwhile, seven student-athletes earned All Solutions All-Academic honors. Those team members were Kennedy Alleyne, Kendall Baggett, Sydney Gadsden, Madison Levy, Kerri Rhodes, Alexandra Richards, and Kirstin Shears.

Keshaun Edgar was named as XULA's representative on the All-Champions of Character team. 

Xavier is currently participating in the SSAC conference championships, which conclude Saturday.
