     NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana's Juan Batalla and Samir Chikhaoui won men's titles Saturday in the XULA Invitational at XULA Tennis Center.
     Batalla was 3-0 in singles, including an 8-3 victory against Chikhaoui in the final. Batalla and Chikhaoui were 3-0 in doubles and defeated sibling teammates Santiago and Sebastian Perez 6-2 in the final.
     This was the Gold Rush's final event of the fall schedule. The XULA men — the NAIA national runner-up three of the last four years — will play dual matches beginning in late January.
