NEW ORLEANS - Expected harsh weather in the Crescent City has forced the rescheduling of the 2026 Big Easy Classic tennis tournament. 

The Classic, hosted by LSU-New Orleans, was to have been held Oct. 2 and 3 at the Privateer Tennis Center. The tournament will now take place Nov. 6 and 7.

Numerous Xavier men and women will participate in single-elimination singles and doubles play over the course of those two days. 

Up next for XULA Tennis will be the 4-day ITA Cup, a top-tier tournament held in Georgia at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College, Oct. 15-18.
