Results

CANTON, Ga. — Xavier University of Louisiana All-American Santiago Perez won in doubles and singles, but Reinhardt won 5-of-6 singles matches to take a 5-2 victory in a matchup of ranked NAIA men's tennis teams Saturday.
XULA (1-2), ranked second, lost for the second consecutive day. Reinhardt (2-0) is ranked sixth.
Next for XULA: 9 a.m. EST Sunday at NAIA No. 1 Georgia Gwinnett (6-0).
"Right now we are not a very good team," said 18th-year XULA head coach Alan Green, whose men were NAIA national tournament runner-up in 2016, 2017 and 2019. "We are below our standard, and we need to get better quickly. We have the potential to do so, but right now we are not there. The good thing is we have a lot of tennis ahead of us to prove our worth."
