William Carey, 9-2 and ranked fifth in the NAIA, had a first-round bye. The Crusaders defeated XULA 4-3 March 19 in Mobile.
"It's going to be a tough one tomorrow," said
Alan Green, head coach of XULA's men and women and director of tennis. "Today was not as easy as the score indicated. It was really our first time hitting a ball since Indiana because of all the rain. So today we got through the rust and finished the match."
