NEW ORLEANS — Xavier University of Louisiana's opening-round baseball game against Fisher in the Association of Independent Institutions Championship tournament was pushed back four hours after Talladega announced Thursday that it had withdrawn.
        The new time of the XULA-Fisher game will be 7 p.m. EDT Saturday at Georgia Gwinnett College's Grizzly Baseball Complex (1030 Collins Hill Road, Lawrenceville, Ga., 30043).
        The tournament winner and a second team from this grouping will receive automatic bids to the NAIA nationals opening round May 17-20.
        The revised schedule (times Eastern) for the four-team, double-elimination event:

Saturday, May 8
Game 1 — Georgia Gwinnett (39-9, No. 1 seed) vs. Crowley's Ridge (21-25, No. 4 seed), 3 p.m.
Game 2 — Fisher (29-18, No. 2 seed) vs. XULA (26-9, No. 3 seed), 7 p.m.

Sunday, May 9
Game 3 — Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2, 11 a.m.
Game 4 — Loser of Game 1 vs. Loser of Game 2, 3 p.m.
Game 5 — Loser of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 4, 7 p.m.

Monday, May 10
Game 6 — Winner of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 5, 11 a.m.
Game 7 — If-necessary game featuring same two teams (40 minutes afterward)
