Higginson named Champion of Character on 2026 RRAC All-Conference Baseball team

Friday, the Red River Athletic Conference announced that XULA first baseman Kai Higginson has been named to the All-Conference Champions of Character Team.

Higginson, a senior from Brooklyn, New York, was one of the Gold Rush's most effective power hitters in 2026.

He connected on 22 hits, 4 doubles, and 4 home runs, scored 12 runs, and drove in 16 more.

The Champions of Character program is the NAIA's key way to recognize those student-athletes who best embody the five core values of college athletics: Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership.
