XULA hammers Wiley on road; doubleheader at noon Saturday

        MARSHALL, Texas — Xavier University of Louisiana scored in every inning Friday and cruised to a 15-2 victory in the opener of a three-game Red River Athletic Conference series.
        The game was called after seven innings because of the 10-run rule. It was XULA's largest winning margin this season.
        Co Co Simoneaux, D'Aires Davis, Matt Muhleisen, Courtland Posey and Skyler Roberts had two RBIs apiece. The Gold Rush collected 15 hits, three apiece by Simoneaux and Muhleisen. Simoneaux doubled twice.
        XULA starter Andre Beaudoin pitched four innings and earned the victory.
        XULA and Wiley will conclude the series with a noon Saturday doubleheader.
